Sozo Architecture

With the ambition of designing a landmark building, integrating the specific challenges and constraints of this plot in front of the motorway entrance, the project asserts its role as an urban canvas.

In this transient environment, the architecture is imbued with boldness, finding its position with precision and balance.

The project pays tribute to the city of Nîmes by drawing inspiration from the work of its most renowned artist. Integrated into the façade, the celebrated “antiforms” of Claude Viallat, made in lacquered metal, captivate the viewer. Magnified across the façade, they reflect the artistic impulse that characterises the programme. Taking as its starting point the desire to work with materials in their original state, a concrete/glass/vegetal triptych serves as the supporting canvas for the “antiforms.”
